There is no complaint with any value that I give to S95 (ie 1,45,47,
etc.) ... it just has no effect :-)) You say that the Logicode is using
an AT&T chipset ... I was under the impression that it was a Cirrus
Logic chipset or are they one and the same? My AT commands show:
 ATI1 CD04.08 - MM03.18P5 - Sp 03
 ATI3 CL - MD34xx

I have tried Telix 3.22 as well as the latest 3.51 (May 96) and the Docs
make reference to 28.8 and 33.6 ... as for Terminate, I have talked to
others using ver 4.00 and Zoom 33.6 and have no problem displaying 28.8
and 33.6 DCE info.

Great idea and I tried it. I got my connect message showing 14,400 but
was unable to access data mode when I used W2, which is the same problem
as with S37 set to default of 0. Tried various combinations of S95 and
all to no avail. My BBS shows connect speed at logon time and also will
display USR stats if requested. They show as 14,400/14,400 or with
S37=0, then 31,200/28,800. So, forcing 14,400 made no difference
whatsoever ... I still can't display DCE speed :-((

Thanks for all your input. Maybe if and when I get the 56k upgrade, it
will also fix this problem. Compared with my USR Sportster 14.4 and
prior to that a Zoom 14.4, this modem is a dream!!!
Bye for now ... Bob
