I noticed that the bad guy in these issues of the rocketeer, was a dead
ringer for the 1946 creeper film. Check it out. A bogus mandrake the
magician & lothar also appear.Yeah, by not coing out with follow up
adventures swiftly after the films release, Stevens blew it!! My guess,
is that NOBODYS going to tell him anything, when it comes to HIS
character, & the more he gets rode to produce, the slower he gets!
Artists can be that way.The fans & the public have short attention
spans,& theres always some new character coming along to grab their
attention.At least, when a character is owned by a comic company, they
DO something with the character, rather then let him rot.
