Do you need a BBS, or would a mail only system work for you?

For such a system I use the Husky utils [FIDOSOFT.HUSKY] (I think), with 
BinklyTerm as the POTS mailer and BinkD as the internet mailer ...

Works great ... , if you do not need an interactive interface for users ...
