Oh course you aren't. Heck when you can't even control the country it's so
much less risky to be wandering round empty bits of desert.
Sending some troops off to "look for wmd" is a nice break for
them. Perhaps they could "look for WMD" at a beach in Kuwait or
Bahrain or Qatar.

worthless) was chemical & that has a storage requirement otherwise it's
simply some strange coloured salts. Spotting a large cold store for chem
weapons (given to be WMD they'd have to be used en masse) is not the same
as finding a suitcase or a girl on an island.
