I moved back to this area a year and a half ago, after 6 months of checking
¨in to the only local net on 2m (or otherwise)  nobody seemed to still be
able ¨to even recall my name, so I turned it off, listened to 146.520
though the day ¨and evening for a few months after that..  put my callsign
out lots of times ¨and zero responces. ¨ ¨Sold my only VHF radio a couple
months ago since all it was doing is ¨collecting dust. ¨
