Heard other stories about such things.

I found this one by setting her computer to rights for her.
Was getting another sysop set up with fidonet so I"d have a
downlink to take all the gaming and star trek echoes and the like.  sO
I"m over there a few times helping him get
frontdoor going and mail processing.  HE'd met her at the
grocery store and offered to get her old 8088 machine with a 20 mb mfm hard
disk going again.  wHen he couldn't get it to regularly format and we had
to do a low level through debug
he called me.  I ended up setting up a telix script for her
to automagically log onto my bbs, etc.

We've been together about 12 years, or will be 12 years this next thanksgiving.
