On 03-27-09, ROSS SAUER said to ALL: RS>Real plumbers, are slamming the fake "JoeThe Plumber" big time. RS>With good reason. The translation of that is: `unionists' are angry that someone speaks out against their attempt to *force* unionism on the whole work force. RS>The Plumbers Union is steaming over the news that Joe the Plumber has been RS>enlisted by groups opposed to the Employee Free Choice Act to campaign at RS>a number of Pennsylvania rallies against the measure. Forced `unionism' is just another way of keeping control of every worker in the work force. The worker's job depends on `the union'. Everything the worker does at the work place is governed by `the union', and not by a workers own ambition to work. Um....didn't the communists try that system? It didn't work out too well. It ended up where the workers were pretending to work, and the `employers' were pretending to pay them. Shortages of everything....you almost had to be on a waiting list to buy a pound of butter or a loaf of bread! And the butter usually turned out to be rancid, and the bread moldy! A person can work hard, be a great asset to their employer, and `earn' their employers added benefits and gratuities; or a worker can be a `unionist', forced to pay a portion of their hard-earned money to the `union', and recieve largess (a pittance) from the `union'. And also watch the `union' use their hard earned money to fund political campaigns to install politicians who the workers really do not want in office, use their hard earned money to help organized crime figures build newer and more lavish hotel\casino complexes in Nevada or elsewhere, from which they rake in millions (of which the worker gets nothing), watch `union' officials live the life of luxury on the worker's dime, etc etc etc. How long will it be before the direction this new administration is taking us will include the common `union' worker having to work `where' he's told to work, `for whom' he is allowed to work, and the hours he's allowed to work each work week? Wait! That was the communist system again! RS>A Plumbers Union official tells me that Joe is "selling out real RS>plumbers." Gee.......a*plumber's union official*! Now `there' is a real unbiased statement! By the way........one wonders how many `unions' a certain person in Nowheresville, Wisconsin has ever belonged to. --- *Durango b301 #PE** Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 249/303 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 SEEN-BY: 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
