Hello Björn!

31 Mar 15 22:56, you wrote to me:

Well I was not shure. I made a little joke about delays when crossing
borders in werstern Europe. A few seconds because because of a reduced
speed zone over a stretch of two or three kilometers.

You take that so seriously that you start looking for evidence on treetview.

If you call a speed limit that is probably there because the old, not
yet customs facilities, make the overview of the road unsafe to pass at
a speed of 120 or 130 Km/h a failure of what the politicians have
 promised, then you are right.

Fact is, that when my rucksack was stolen in Portugal, with among other
posessions, my passport in it. I had no need to go to the consulate for
a new passport. I travelled home without identity papers, travelling through
 Spain, France and Belgium.

I have met no customs travelling into Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and
 Finland.

I have more delays at the tollgate on the Oresund bridge into Sweden.

What annoys me at no end is the fact that for every Scandinavian country
except Finland, I need to get a different currency and when I return a couple
of years later I cannot use the bills I still had from the previous journey.
