areas, including torture of prisoners and detainees.

There were poor conditions in prisons and detention centers, impunity,

department said in its annual report on human rights conditions worldwide.

Other shortcomings in Egypt, it said, included executive branch limits on

So which of the above doesn't the US also do / hasn't the US done recently?

One simple word....Guantanamo....& the above is just so much
self-serving nonsense ...
