Anyhow, ISI has been in bed with Islamicists for decades. While former Pakistani president Musharaff was (supposedly) friendly to the US his minions in ISI were (and are) not. Likewise, while Musharaff was (supposedly) cooperating with the US in its "war on terror," the ISI was (and is) not. Musharaff was voted out of office and replaced by somebody who is more friendly to Islamicists, not a good omen - but at least the new guy seems to be more honest about what's going on than his predecessor was. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 249/303 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 SEEN-BY: 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
