Maybe.  Or maybe they finally got permission to run a story they've
been sitting on.  I don't know.

Anyhow, ISI has been in bed with Islamicists for decades.  While
former Pakistani president Musharaff was (supposedly) friendly to
the US his minions in ISI were (and are) not.  Likewise, while
Musharaff was (supposedly) cooperating with the US in its "war
on terror," the ISI was (and is) not.  Musharaff was voted out of
office and replaced by somebody who is more friendly to Islamicists,
not a good omen - but at least the new guy seems to be more honest
about what's going on than his predecessor was.
