   This is an example from a script I use to post an Areafix request to my 
uplink:

-----------------------------------------------------
TO="Areafix{at}f544.n120.z1.fidonet.org"
SUBJ=PassWord
TXTMSG=$VARDIR/f544/msg.txt

$BINDIR/mbmsg post $TO 2 $SUBJ $TXTMSG cp
-----------------------------------------------------

   "2" is the area number.
