THat's one approach. Mine is to vote for the candidate or
party which comes closest to espousing my philosophy. tHat
also means oftentimes I'm voting for not more of the same,
bought and paid for by the big money interests.
THis time I broke with my usual philosophy of voting my
conscience and beliefs, and voted major party, because I
knew voting as I normally would provided only one outcome,
especially if other folks who don't vote major parties did
as I did. I would venture a guess that some third party
voters did as I did this time, and chose the lesser of two
evils. MIne was not so much a vote for Obama, though the
writings of his I've had opportunity to peruse read rather
nice, not sure that there's anything of substance can really happen there.
But, the JOhn McCAin I thought I saw in 2000
wasn't the JOhn McCain running this time, and his running
mate was far from acceptable.
Regards,
Richard
