I've got a dozen of those around the house, very bright single LED
flashlights for looking in small places, both ends are rare earth magnets
(very strong) so you can pick a ball bearing out of the cylinder bore
.
They are also really good when working on the innards of a computer.. just
don't stick it to the hard drive :)
