* Crossposted from: Politically Incorrect When does a child get to rule over the adults that are responsible for them? A 5 yro got well out of hand and needed to be restrained. Maybe, and I do mean an emphatic maybe, the hand cuffing was a bit much. But, kids today have far too much power for their age. No, I'm not for the reintroducing of caning. But, there are times that proper restraint methods should be used. Simply stating that a kid trashing a place is, "Well, he's just being a kid" doesn't fly. Nor is allowing that kid to get away scot-free "because he's just a kid". --- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Soundly on the Fault Line (1:123/666.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/666 500 106/2000 633/267 |
