Check with a Meade dealer--I came across one (Astroptx.com) with an
extraordinarily complete list of products on its Web site that was selling
the primary mirror only for the 16" f/4.5 Starfinder dob.  The price
was
$819.  They also had the 12.5" f/4.8 for $509.  They looked like normal
stock item listings; at least there wasn't anything indicating they were
used, one-of-a-kind or anything.
DISCLAIMER:  I own a Meade telescope.  I like it.  Please buy lots of Meade
products so they'll stay in business.
