 DS> I loged on as Administrator, which only showed about 1/2 of the
 DS> desktop  icons.

        You might have many administrators setup. You might have to find
        the mian one, the first one that was designed on loading the W2K
        and use that one. There is only one " Top Dog " in W2K.

        Somehow, I think that I am coughing against thunder though.
        Here, if I use my second administrator, me, I can do the Win
        updates fine.   Oh, well !
