-=> Quoting Sondra Ball to Robin Arnhold <=-
Hi, Sondra,
SB> I was walking through a cherry orchard a couple of days ago. Some of
SB> the trees had little cherries growing all over them, and then other
SB> trees, right beside the laden ones, were completely bare of fruit. I
SB> think it's going to be a wierd year, crop wise.
It is finally starting to get a little more typical around here
weatherwise. Although a bit late, summer has finally arrived after maybe
ten days of real spring weather. We've had a lot of heavy rains,
although that real bad downpour hit Milwaukee instead of us. My
leadworker and her husband went down to Milwaukee this weekend, a chance
for the two of them to get away by themselves for a change. I don't
think, though, that they quite had swimming on their agenda. :>
>I've spent a fair part of the weekend getting the air conditioners up

SB> I'm glad you decided to wait. Do take care of yourself.
Thank you. I waited until the weather forecast said 'hot'. From the
standpoint of my back, I probably could have waited longer, but at least
I didn't do it any further injury, just delayed the healing some. The
kinks are slowly working their way out. Now I have car problems to deal
with. Thursday morning when I went out to go to work, I discovered that
somebody had smashed a window during the night--probably trying to get
the cell phone that's in the linen closet. Friday morning on the way to
work, I was rear-ended--virtually no damage except to the finish. I will
have to have the bumper repainted. My insurance agent is going to
recognize my voice pretty soon if things keep going on this way.
Take care,
Robin
