The next model perhaps, but if yours has a socketed EPROM, I doubt it's the
Vi/DSVD model, which is currently the only flash-upgradeable Sportster.

There are others.  ATGR nnnn:nnnn will dump specific ROM segments to your
display, and ATGW nnnn:nnnn _used_ to actually write to these segments
(it's how the original Sportsters could be made to use HST :)).  ATUSR
should give you a screen of credits, and AT~S shows the modem's serial
number.
