1237bcfc6c2b c_echo Hello Winston - --8<--cut 3>>> ask Charles Angelich in TECH he seems to be a kermit 3>>> expert. WS> He suggests that I use Bob Juge's CommPort BBS for Kermit WS> transfers, which is fine, except that I am looking for a WS> solution that works with generic WildCat!. It WS> looks like I may have to dig out my 48K 6502 from the WS> closet and work with Kermit65 after all! You've misunderstood what I posted to you. I included the MSKermit settings for every WildCat BBS _plus_ mentioned that juge.com has a much better kermit transfer installed. I got into 'it' with Santos over his kermit transfers and after some vulgarity aimed at me the short version is he didn't write that part and can't 'fix' it. No WildCat BBS will allow larger than 120 byte packets which reduces a 56k modem to 300 baud transfer speeds. It was the de-facto standard for calculator transfers long ago and somehow the person who wrote the kermit transfer grabbed that data and never looked any further into kermit (kermit can be faster than zmodem if setup properley at both sender and receiver). > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
