At the moment that only applies to the other big boys most of whom have
sufficient "strategic depth" to make a conventional attack
pointless. Remember Hitler getting lost on the Russian steppes? Equally
imagine trying to occupy a hostile china or India (or even EU).

Oddly Nukes help the little countries most of all (e.g. Israel) as they
make up for not having "strategic depth".

i.e. conventionally the big boys are invulnerable & were they to push
for everyone to go non-nuclear then they'd keep their stategic advantage.

However nukes are nice & shiny & (on top of a missle) make great
penis substitutes for pols.

Indeed. Also it would be unwinnable. The best recent example would be the
Iran-Iraq war where millions died but neither side won.

As would everyone else. & after the war would come the fighting off of
(or surrender to) the war crimes court etc (esp if started as a "war
