Of course, the BG> remote will need to have that function enabled as well (most do). I added at your suggestion the above %E2. I seem to have better connections now although something else strange has occurred recently! I took my two older (one late 92 and one early 93 mfg.) telecom touch pad phones down to telstra's office and swapped them for new Telstra touchfone 400. When the old phones were left connected I had not encountered any problems dropping carrier after 15 mins. or similar but now with the two new phones connected to the line I connect ok to my bbs. go through the welcome screens but when I arrive at bluewave and attempt to download mail I recieve approx. 5 kb. and then the download halts. If I cancel the download and while still online disconnect the two new phones and try the download again everything goes ok. What's happening here? ... Send lawyers, guns, and money.
