This plant may not last very much longer, what was left of the domestic
textile industry is crumbling fast, that's why I have to keep my eyes open
for the job market. As for finding something I'm not all that sure, I'm
way over qualified for a lot of jobs, and underqualified for others.

One job in the newspaper in a week is a VERY poor market, there's a lot of
people already out of work trying to get that job. (and yes, I looked
today, one IT manager for a bigger company, I wouldn't qualify, and one for
the post and courier that I might, but I know they're looking for different
experience than I have.)

I do have good contacts in a few places, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad
to find a job, and perhaps when I get debt free, "I'll just say what
the heck."

I wish I'd see them.

I haven't been checking those for awhile, I'll have to start. (other than
government, and there's been a lot of those actually, just not quite what I
want where I want yet, and there are other reasons I might not get
something like that. )

For a lot of things, it's a great job. I just wish I had a budget to
update some the machines. (we still have a couple 486's in service -- one
Win3.1, and the others Win95 -- it's extremely painful to work on those!)
More money for myself would be nice as well. :)

One big problem with it is I'm on call *all* the time, so I never can get
it off my mind. :(

Next month I'll have been here 10 years if you can believe that!

One word, earthquakes. I lived in CA for awhile and I was more afraid of
those than I am of hurricanes.
