 Newman starred as Ross McDonald's hero, Harper.  I looked in my
 Maltin's guide and found a 1983 TV-movie called HARPER McGEE.
 Stars Sam Elliott.  The reviewer indicates that it is dreadful:
 "Elliot's McGee is so somnambulent that by the first commercial
 break you'll be asleep, too."  Based on The Empty Copper Sea.
