I'm not quite sure what you're aiming for -- I find it very seldom
necessary to play with the event file. If you DO make a change to the event
file, the procedure is as follows:

a) shut down binkley
b) delete *.scd, *.day
c) edit binkley.evt
d) run BT noforce (which will jump immediately to the current event)
