Advocating abortion rights
does mean that you advocate abortion. If I advocate free speech rights,
then therefore I advocate people being able to choose to speak freely.
If you advocate abortion rights, then you advocate people being able to
choose to have/perform an abortion. Therefore you advocate abortion.
Why don't people just stand up and say that they advocate abortion as
an option. Even if you would not advocate abortion as the primary
option, you still advocate abortion being available as an option;
therefore, you are advocating abortion, is at least some way.
Your attempt to avoid the issue is noted.
And whats with capitalizing rights? I guess you have to constant yell
about the current legal status of abortion as a right in order to make
a point.
Just because someone has a legal right to something does not mean that
this right cannot be taken away. It was not illegal to possess
marijuana before a certain point in US history. So circa 1796 a person
had a "right" to possess marijuana. Now that possession of marijuana is
illegal, noone has that right. (With certain restrictions, etc.) Having
a right means very little.
