Sounds like your upgrade of gcc and libs has resulted in a large version change. Waste of time for me running Mandriva 2011.0 as updates are thin on the ground. Must made a desision on moving to the spin of version Magelia (or similar) but its just a pain of having to reinstall all of the various bit and pieces I have got running but I guess I will have to bit the bullet sooner than later !!.
