I'd like to add this too (on a big issue like this you always think of some
details after you post)
Earth is big enough to have volcanic activity. That may also be an important
aspect of any origin of life.
Too small and volcanic activity stops quickly - too large and it may keep it
from beginning.
There are a lot of angles to this origin problem.
