If that is within the directory listing, that is OK. That will not
slow down the process. I thought you wanted to do it while entering an
image filename while in the Send feature.

I copied over 200 3.5" disks via ethernet this week-end from my IIgs
(ROM03, 4 MB, ZipGS 8 Mhz) to my macbook .The IIgs was connected to my
ADSL box with an ethernet cable and a WiFi connection from the ADSL
box to my macbook. Some disks were copied on less than 300 seconds,
some others on 500 seconds.

When a disk has (a lot of) read errors (especially on the latest
blocks), the server sometimes crashes, the send routine goes to an
infinite loop and I am obliged to stop the process. I then have to
disconnect and restart the Ethernet connection. Why is that? On the
other hand, I really appreciate the fact that a read error on a disk
does not prevent the send feature from ending. That is really great.

As the application is P8 based, the volume feature (Refresh command)
returns with an I/O error when a HFS disk is inserted. Is that a P8
error (code #$27, I/O error) or is that an ADTpro error code? I
sometimes have to switch to GS/OS to validate that the disk is in an
Apple format and copyable.

When I finish my FST homework, I believe I will work on a IIgs
version... Your program is sooo useful,
