Locked port or fossil?  wHich method, spawn exit or batch?
errorlevel 96 for 9600 baud, etc.  REmember they wrap around past 255. I'd
use bbsbatch, let it write out a batch which handles all those gory details
and invokes the bbs using spawnbbs.bat
