Oddly a large amount of the solution is why Blair has been pushing Bush to
settle the Israel-Palestine problem. It is a long running sore where in
essence the Arabs see that the US will always back Jews over them no matter
what & that breeds a backlash.

If the US would drop it's blanket approach for (new old) zionism as a
fellow (new new) zionist country then the Arabs might feel that the US does
not view them as second class humans.

Hey maybe globalization means that the whole world is the new (& old)
zion in which case arguing over a bit of it is nonsensical.
