OK, Charles. I didn't take umbrage. Been retired too long for that.
A bit of controversy does wonders for increasing lurker participation,
and it's been a bit dry (not to say dead) of late.
I haven't bothered to learn Celerion assembler. It's not sufficiently
different, and other matters tend to press in on the available time.
When I was working I had a fairly easy time. Now I am rushed off my
feet and get much less done, but it's all enjoyable. I think it's the
cocoon around you when you are working that narrows your focus.
It is interesting that the programs that stopped working on Win ME now
work again on Windows XP, so Windows is not one OS but many. I think I
prefer backwards compatibility, but I'm open to persuasion, if I can be
convinced of increased utility (which I doubt).
