Roads and sidewalks = infrastructure

A government that provides infrastructure  socialism

A government that provides infrastructure = a government doing one of the
things it actually should be doing but, when they are trying to chase
"socialism" and "trickle-up poverty," they often do not do such a hot job at
infrastructure, or anything else they SHOULD be doing.
