Precisely.  This crap has been going on for quite a while now in the middle
east.  Jefferson was the first American president forced to deal with it.

Those who think this is all about Bush, Iraq, or Western
"exploitation" of oil in the region, have no concept of the
history of the region.

This battle has been going on to greater and lesser degrees for over a
thousand years.  Its only narrow minded political opportunist fools who
keep insisting on trying to frame it to suit their own personal agendas.
