WB-> Great!  I tried the modem you suggested and it seems to work now.  I

It has been a while since I put them in, can't remember what the speaker
looks like although it "seems" like it was fairly tiny.
 
WB-> I also seem to get less 'freezing' when using it in dos...actaully it 
pret
  -> much elimianated the problem.
 
Add the string AT&K3S12=0 and it will completely get rid of ALL
freezing.
