That would be nice if it were true. The problem is that liberty etc is
normally founded on respect for the law/rule of law etc. & Bush has
shown himself to have as little time for that as any similar ruler (e.g.
Putin or the PRC Pres).

In which case maybe you should start fighting it. It is pointless to say
all that & yet meekly accept "extraordinary rendition" to
torturing dictatorships, Guantanamo etc.
