Interesting.  Did they get pictures?  Isn't this the same creature that nob= ody
has seen live, but only washed up dead in New Zealand?  Somehow I just know
that somewhere in the Star Trek universe, some planet's giant squids have
become sentient and are flying starships around.  Now there would be an
interesting first contact.
