I've not been inspired to write anything in 'C' or any other
language for quite some time now. I don't even have my 'C'

Seems to me that Microsoft tried to re-invent Windows starting
with ME and has been wallowing in disappointments from that
time to this. XP is OK (sort of) but the hardware requirements
and inefficient use of processing power is discouraging to me. 

I read rumors that NTFS is going to be dumped but in favor of
what I do not read. I also read Microsoft is testing a mini-OS
standalone to replace the 'recovery console' used for OS that
use NTFS. Either , if successful, would be a welcomed addition. 

I've mainly been doing music files here and watching time go by.
