Hmmm, ancient Mexicans?
In our texts (fifth grade), these sacrifices are pointed out as well as are 
the ugly facts about everybody. One side won, the other lost - why try to 
romanticize the facts. 
 
Many romanticize native Americans because they think they see a simple pure 
life - but if one hikes the west, it will take little time to realize 
survival was anything but simple.
