I don't think she named a specific grass, but I'm sure there would be
housing ordinances that would require a certain type, and these would
vary by neighborhood.  Maybe Bermuda, although I've heard St. Augustine
does well without much sun.

That's a good idea for a business.  If I could get these men to pay me
whatever they were paying their wives, and I could hire people to do
what their wives did, I could keep the difference and get rich fast.
The problem is that their wives are just going away for a while, and
these men will still have to support their wives during the interim.
Otherwise, I would already be packing.
