I am going to buy another modem later this year.  At present I am using a
Netcom modem called The Electronic Secretary.   This modem can also be used
as an answering machine, whoever it it does not allow to screen callers
before answering the phone, at least not without hassles.  (manually
resetting the modem and re lauching Cooee is to much hassles for me)

Could I screen calls with the Dynalink modem and then decide if I want to
answer the phone immediately or if I want to return the call at a later
stage, without any interaction on my part, if I chose not to answer the
phone and record the message?

In other words, would I have to reset the modem after each incoming call
that I chose to answer instead of the modem answering the message?
