Umm, I dont know for sure, but what you want is more a function of the
software than the modem itself. Most Dynalinks, and many other brands
are bundled with Cheyynne Bitware, which may do what you want. You have
the option to listen to incomming calls while somebody is leaving a
message, by plugging a speaker into the speaker socket in the modem.
Exactly how you take over a call manually, I'm not sure, as the situation
has never arisen. I think you can click on 'Handset' on receive manager,
to take over a call. Simply picking up the phone probably wouldnt suffice.
