Of course Java is not always a best fit scenario either.  If the resulting
code is open source, maybe I will take a look at porting it to Linux also.
This would be a fun project and the possibility of using a cross platform
GUI kit may mean it can run on multiple Unix platforms (Linux, Solaris,
MacOS X).
