Why?  I know very few people who read Equus so they can find out how much
some person acoss town knows or doesn't know about horses.  In fact, I think
I am the only person on here from the whole state of Georgia.  It is highly
unlikely that anyone would use any Equus chat against you, unless you're
abusive, which doesn't seem likely.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.  (And probably worth every penny!)
I live in the suburbs of Atlanta and have 2 horses.  They live here with
my husband, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 turtles and 6 spoiled barn chickens.  I ride
both english and western.  I am working with a trainer on my 3 year old
half Arab.  This trainer is a certified Centered Riding instructor and I
have taken some lessons with her.  I'm not far enough into it to tell you
much, other than my legs are further back than I'm used to riding and
I am now sitting on my pelvis and pubic bones and not my butt.  It is very
weird to change my position that much and work from there after years of
riding on my butt.  BUT, now I don't feel so much like a passenger and
some of the things I've heard all along from other instructors make more
sense.
Sorry, I'm getting confused and confusing.....
