Well, if they're doing this, I would say that the BBC is going downhill
faster than a base jumper.

The premise is absurd. Do they really think they'll show that men
can't live without their women? What do they think single men do?

Then there's the can of worms they open. When the men of Harby, as
well as those who watch the show, see how little value these wives
really have, and how great a time the men have without them, some will
consider whether to throw their insignificant others from the gravy
train.

Some men can't iron, but the launderers can, and men have the bucks to
pay them. The cost of having a shirt laundered and pressed is about a
dollar over here. What is it over there?

Regardless, men will see that what their wives provide can be bought
for much less money than it costs to have a wife. This show will
reveal the extent to which women live beyond their means at men's
expense. Women will wish they had kept the secret.

And also survive without a public trough that men have to fill.

Camille Paglia said they'd all be living in grass huts.

And the men will be able to play there without getting nagged for it.
