DC>> My first DOS was 3.1, though I have an old game that runs in 2.11 BA>> Hmph. My first DOS was DOS/VSE on a mainframe. My first DC> What's this? Who has the oldest PC? BA>> couldn't be done. Had 3 Omaha area BBS's (including one running on an BA>> IMSAI 8080 box with two 8" floppy disks) running it for several years, BA>> I don't think it could service points, though. DC> I'be seen those 8" discs. There were still being sold at the DC> time I bought my first PC. i dunno who has the oldest one... but i have a system 36 sitting here acting as a table leg for this 8ft computer workstation/bench... its the height of a two drawer filing cabinet, of which i have one of those on the other end of the banch... anyway, this machine has a 8inch flopppy drive and a 30meg hard drive... that hard drive weighs some 50+pounds... the unit was given to me at a time when i was collecting old dead hard drives and using the platters in them for making clocks with... this one was going to be a table clock as i don't think a 50+pound wall clock is a good idea  )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 3634/12 106/2000 633/267 |
