1237bcde5e5e c_echo Hello Winston - --8<--cut WM>> The standard telnet does not support zmodem transfers, as WM>> you were as about; nor indeed any other kind of file WM>> transfer. WS> Well, as long as you are briging up the subject of file WS> transfers, does anyone know or have the MS-KERMIT settings WS> to match it up to the WildCat! BBS Kermit settings? WS> WildCat! is just about the only BBS type around these WS> parts. I need to know what the parameters are for its WS> Kermit module so that I can match up MS-Kermit with it and WS> perform a transfer. I need the checksum type, padding, WS> length of packet, number of windows... all of that stuff. I WS> have not yet been able to get the two different Kermits to WS> sync up! I have been trying to Kermit nodelist segments and WS> the always come out as gibberish after I apply ARC/E. The WS> transfer image is being corrupted by the bad settings! The BBS you mentioned has a fubar'd kermit and will limit the packet sizes to 120 bytes or less. It does work, I've used it for uploading but it's too slow for downloading (even QWK packets) IMO. You didn't say what Kermit you are using but it sounds like you're not shifting into binary mode transfers? I only know MSKermit (DOS) setting/cmds. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
