Okay, let me try again.
The max. stable carrier from Your modem to the Remote is
say 26.4k
Due to telco problems the max. stable carrier from the Remote
to your modem is say 19.2k.
Would you rather transfer data in BOTH directions at 19.2k
or would you rather have 26.4k to the remote and 19.2k from
the remote (in this case your uploads would be MUCH faster)?
