My ACE mechanic JJ found a broken spring on the inside of the
distributor, and is getting a new one to install. That plus weights for
balance come to about $25. Seems a lot for so little. Hope that is what
was making the engine surge and idle badly.
Will find out in the next day or so. BTW, did you buy your lotto ticket?
If we win, let buy each other new boats, OK?
Supposed to be in upper 90's all week long. Ready for some boating here.
Going to SF on Al's boat Sunday. Should take most/all of the day, and be
a great ride on the 36' Uniflite. Fun to drive. Not sure where he is
going to berth it down there, but will find out Sun AM. If you're in the
