Kansas is an "open state" I believe. As for Ms. Bieler -- she called me via 
phone about two weeks ago.  She hopes to get back on line soon. She's 
situated in a nice home in Plano, I believe she said, things are not going as 
smoothly as she hoped, but things are progreessing. She likes Texas - BM 
having mixed emotions as to how her life has been changed since her finding!  
The usual story! Time heals many wounds and time is something that we hope we 
have plenty of in these adoption cases.  Am sure things will work out ok for
