Get An Entertaining Update On The Key Issues In Disability Policy This Week
On On A Roll! Sunday Evening 7-9PM 730 on your AM dial WBZS.
It was a very busy week in the shaping of disability policy. The Community
Attendant Services Act (HB2020) was introduced by Newt Gingrich. The
Supreme Court ruled that there is no constitutional right to kill oneself or
have a physician help kill someone. And the legislation for the portrayal
of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in a wheelchair was introduced. On A Roll will
be joined by top leaders who have been instrumental in fighting for these
issues.
* Bob Kafka will join us from A.D.A.P.T. He will let you know how you can
help to insure that people with disabilities have access to personal
assistant services.
* Stephen Drake from Not Dead Yet will discuss the recent Supreme Court
decision.
* And Jim Dickson will discuss the legislation which will mandate the
portrayal of FDR in a wheelchair within the memorial.
It will be a lively two hour broadcast on Sunday evening. We want your
opinion to be heard. Call in to the program at 1-888-800-ROLL(7655).
